Some fans of Halo released a demo of an upcoming homebrew 2D game featuring Master Chief against those nasty alien invaders.
The game is a Contra style game with lots of explosions and gun fights, expect a more detailed impression soon when I got the chance to try it out.
In the meantime, go to Halo Zero and try it out.

Ruby on Rails is growing

Dec 12, 2005 Author: admin | Filed under: Blog, Programming, Web

Seems like Ruby on Rails is becoming a popular programming language these days, in fact, it’s overcoming Python books right now! (ok, so I don’t like Python anyway but still…)
You can catch the news at O’Reilly radar here.

While I was looking at the data, though, I noticed something perhaps more newsworthy: in the same period, Ruby book sales surpassed Python book sales for the first time. Python is up 20% vs. the same period last year, but Ruby is up 1552%! (Perl is down 3%.)

Groovy, in the meantime you can try Ruby.

Tai Chi classes

Dec 7, 2005 Author: admin | Filed under: Blog

I’ve started taking Tai Chi Chuan classes yesterday at a dojo near my work place. So I must say today I feel like i’ve taken quite a beating, I guess mainly from being quite a slacker when it comes to exercise…
But the class was fun and I enjoyed doing all the exercises, let’s see how it goes from here on.
