This week

Adobe has announced the official launch of the Apollo platform - SDK available here , there’s still some features missing but I’m going to play around with it a little bit anyway.
I’m not sure where this is going for them, some of the examples weren’t very explicit, except maybe for Yourminis.

Highrise - a shared contact manager - is the much awaited new web app from 37signals, an approach to simplify the concept of CRM and bring it to small business or individuals.

I’ve been playing around with three recent web apps (ok, maybe not so recent), first off it’s Bubbl.us which is a mind-mapping application powered by Flash and available everywhere through a web-browser, Nice.
There’s keyboard shortcuts and you can save your projects to review later or just simply print them. It’s simple and very helpful and you can access it from everywhere fast.

I’ve been using Goplan since they were in private beta (or testing or whatever people are calling it now) and this week Webreakstuff officially launched they product and received good impressions from the blogosphere, a good step forward in online project management applications, be sure to take a look.

On the other side of productivity comes Twitter, which steals away my attention every other second but it keeps me informed of what my mates are doing or thinking (I’m in your mind!), by using the web page, sms or im (although it’s very unstable right now).

If you add Twittervision then you got a large scale map of people connecting with each other through the world, it’s kinda like being Prof. Xavier operating Cerebro but without the hassle of destroying everyone’s brains.

Oh, and Netvibes keeps getting better and better, I can’t imagine my daily scrapping for information without it.

By the way, it seems some people just realized we “discovered” (or bumped ) Australia along time ago.
